3rd grade is learning all about the four orchestra families. We had an introductory video lesson last week. We categorized the instruments by look, sound and characteristics. This week- I found a QR scavenger hunt from TPT and could not resist sharing it with the kids. They must locate all 20 instruments hidden throughout the room. Once they fill out their worksheet, they use the iPad to scan and self-check their papers. Some students chose to work alone, while others worked in pairs to help one another.

I am qualified to teach all music to all grades (K-12) but I love the elementary level. Archives
