This week, we had some visitors in the music room. Maritza Robles from Family Dentistry stopped by Dishman to bring some very important information to our Dynamos. We learned all about sugar and its effect on our teeth. Our Kinder, First and Second grade students participated in a skit that helped demonstrate how plaque damages our teeth. They loved holding those giant teeth pillows! A secret guest popped out at the end of the skit to help students use a giant toothbrush. His name was Willy the Walrus. As you can see-the kids loved him and could not stop hugging him. Way to show the love Dynamos!
