My boys got to talk to football players about being in choir AND sports or band/orchestra. It's important that our kids know their options and are able to express to counselors what they want. They also promoted how all the girls are in choir and it's a great way to get to talk to them.
My boys got to meet their (future) middle school choir director and had lunch with the middle school boys in their choir room! It was a great turnout with over 240 boys making music together. I enjoyed bonding with my boys and seeing them enjoy choir. It's great to have them return from a field trip talking about how much fun they had singing.
What I learned this week.
1)Just because it's the week before vacation: DOESN'T mean we slow down.
2) I'm never going to get used to the holiday program craze.
3) When in doubt, hand out BIGGER and BETTER stickers to calm a class.
Musically yours,
Miss Reyna
